Are you interested in one of our Training Programs. Level 102 has the Security+ which will be starting in January 2025 and the Network+ or Cloud+ starting in April 2025. The cost for one course is $150 and $200 for two and $250 for 3. Course fee includes exam voucher, book, training, labs, and virtual instructor-led meetings once a week for the selected number of exams.
You will have 3 months to complete each exam. If you do not adhere to to communication, survey, and attendance/effort/completion date requirements for the program you will be removed from the program with no refund of subsequent course fees.
The scholarship course fee is non-refundable.
If you purchase 2 or 3 exams and fail the first one you are able to pay $100 for a retake voucher. No additional retake discounts are provided.
If you do not pass the first exam we will not provide materials for the second exam until the first is passed. If the first exam is not passed within 4 months (including retakes) you will be removed from the program.
You must complete an entry and exit survey as a condition for the scholarship.
You must be responsive to emails and teams communications and requests for exam dates or information within 3 days.
PreReq (Range Force assessment (takes 14 hours) and either Grow with Google or Certified and Cybersecurity or something equivalent.
**TryHackMe Tuesdays** is a weekly workshop series designed to provide participants with hands-on cybersecurity skills and real-world experience using the TryHackMe platform. Held every Tuesday, these workshops guide attendees through interactive, practical exercises that cover various cybersecurity topics, such as penetration testing, network security, web application security, and more. Each session is focused on a specific TryHackMe challenge or learning path, allowing participants to work through scenarios that simulate actual cyber threats and defenses. With the support of experienced facilitators, participants can ask questions, discuss strategies, and collaborate with peers in a supportive environment. By the end of the series, attendees will have significantly enhanced their technical abilities, problem-solving skills, and confidence in handling cybersecurity challenges, making them better prepared for real-world situations and career opportunities in the field.
**BurpSuite or Bust Wednesdays** is a weekly workshop series where participants dive deep into the world of web application security using PortSwigger's Web Security Academy and the powerful Burp Suite tool. Held every Wednesday, these workshops are designed to provide hands-on experience with Burp Suite, guiding participants through practical exercises and real-world scenarios that help them understand how to identify, exploit, and remediate common web vulnerabilities. Each session focuses on different aspects of Burp Suite, such as intercepting and modifying HTTP requests, using the Repeater for testing inputs, leveraging the Scanner for automated vulnerability detection, and employing the Intruder for customized attacks.
Key takeaways from the series include a comprehensive understanding of web security principles, proficiency in using Burp Suite's various modules for manual and automated testing, and the ability to recognize and exploit vulnerabilities like SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Participants will also learn how to use advanced Burp Suite tools like Collaborator and Sequencer to test for more sophisticated threats and vulnerabilities. By the end of the workshop series, students will have gained practical skills in web application security testing, a deeper knowledge of web vulnerabilities, and experience in using Burp Suite to secure applications, making them more adept and confident in their roles as cybersecurity professionals.
Free for BGH Level 102 Training Scholars, $50 for non-training scholars. Classes are once a week in teams and go for 8-15 weeks or until the material is covered.
The Peer-Led Security+ Study Group is a collaborative learning initiative designed to help participants prepare for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. This group is open to individuals at all levels of experience, from beginners exploring the fundamentals of cybersecurity to those seeking to solidify their knowledge before taking the exam.

SquadCon is a two-day conference that seeks to bring gender diverse perspectives of the contributions, experiences, and issues facing the industry's other. Hackers that are new or from underrepresented communities may not often feel comfortable in existing conferences. SquadCon is a forum for conversations about topics that impact girls, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals, including mental health and all the factors that shape the experiences of marginalized groups in the industry. SquadCon is a cybersecurity conference that will include talks, labs, workshops, discussions, CTFs and panels to move towards our mission of improving diversity in ethical hacking.
SquadCon is an independent conference event in Las Vegas during Hacker Summer Camp scheduled for August 5-6th. It is run by the makers of Girls Hack Village (BlackGirlsHack and BGH Foundation) and exists to help foster diversity and inclusion in cybersecurity.
