**BurpSuite or Bust Wednesdays** is a weekly workshop series where participants dive deep into the world of web application security using PortSwigger's Web Security Academy and the powerful Burp Suite tool. Held every Wednesday, these workshops are designed to provide hands-on experience with Burp Suite, guiding participants through practical exercises and real-world scenarios that help them understand how to identify, exploit, and remediate common web vulnerabilities. Each session focuses on different aspects of Burp Suite, such as intercepting and modifying HTTP requests, using the Repeater for testing inputs, leveraging the Scanner for automated vulnerability detection, and employing the Intruder for customized attacks.

Key takeaways from the series include a comprehensive understanding of web security principles, proficiency in using Burp Suite's various modules for manual and automated testing, and the ability to recognize and exploit vulnerabilities like SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Participants will also learn how to use advanced Burp Suite tools like Collaborator and Sequencer to test for more sophisticated threats and vulnerabilities. By the end of the workshop series, students will have gained practical skills in web application security testing, a deeper knowledge of web vulnerabilities, and experience in using Burp Suite to secure applications, making them more adept and confident in their roles as cybersecurity professionals.
