Over The Wire (OTW)

Over The Wire is geared towards anyone who aspires to get into Capture The Flag challenges. Over the wire is considered a beginner-friendly CTF/war game developed to teach you how to be effective with Linux and learning how to navigate different file systems. Over The Wire also teaches you how to use other applications and utilities needed to complete various challenges that are presented. Over The Wire is set up to systematically progress you along to harder challenges eventually as to not bore those who may be more advanced. BlackGirlsHack Over The Wire series as with other series takes the time to make sure participants are well aware of what is going on and progresses at a pace most optimal for hands-on learning. All sessions are recorded so participants can review later and questions can be presented to the BlackGirls Hack slack community if you get stuck while practicing on your own.
